Before and After

Video 1 Located in Monroe Township, NJ
The first challenge featured in Video 1 was to transform an ordinary looking window into a fabulous focal point that coordinates with the sliding glass door and the high ceilings.

Pat's Decor designed a valance with side panels on the problem window to achieve the look of a larger window. At the same time, we enhanced the transom window above the sliding door by keeping the view open.

The room needed color which was achieved by using a light weight silk multicolored stripe and plaid fabric.

Video 2 Located in Robbinsville, NJ
Located in Robbinsville, New Jersey, we designed a look to keep the window open and appear higher.

In order to have the window appear higher a striped fabric that coordinated with the oriental rug was used and the window treatment was installed at the ceiling.

The fabric was kept to a minimum.

We designed a cornice and side panels that framed the window keeping it completely open.

A privacy sheer that opens at the center completes the light and open look.

The beautiful gold floral silk fabric with touches of burgundy and green was chosen to accent the room's decor. The swags were trimmed in a color coordinated tassel fringe. A lace sheer was added to allow the beautiful view to shine through. The finishing touch was the antique gold drapery rods and finials. The tray ceiling was painted with a metallic paint to accentuate the rooms architecture and highlight the chandelier.
